General Characteristics
Marmored limestone, in wich one are seen fossils rests; compact, very
fine grain and cream colour with white concreted ones, having varieties
such strak, cloudy, flowered.
About its extraction, in medium and big size blocks, is made in Paraje
de la Loma del Pino, Loja (Granada), in working fronts of quarries of
great dimensions, of several banks.
About its superficial emdimg, take any suggested type of this kind of
stones, its use must be adapted to the current rules on limestones what
take shine form the polish.
Take very shine, uniform, and the obtained polished is very resistant
and this material is very good to be used in multitude of works as plated,
flooringed, etc.
